Purity & transparency
Confidence begins with knowing what you are buying. Explore our BIS registration and the marks that help you check the gold purity of your jewellery.
Our registration
Laura Luxe Diamonds holds a BIS Certificate of Registration for Selling Articles with Hallmark. The certificate covers gold jewellery and artefacts; hallmarking is carried out by a BIS-recognised Assaying and Hallmarking Centre after verification of conformity to the relevant standard.

HUID-based gold hallmarks have three components. Check the marks on your jewellery alongside its stated gold purity.
The BIS Standard Mark identifies the hallmarking scheme.
The purity mark states the caratage and fineness of the gold, such as 14K585 or 18K750.
A six-character alphanumeric Hallmark Unique Identification code identifies the individual hallmarked article.
Our business registration number is separate from an item’s HUID. Gold hallmarking concerns the precious metal’s purity; diamond grading reports describe the diamond separately.
